A poem never dies…

It remains in the inspiration it came from

In the existence of whom it was written for

Even when it has crossed borders,

It never crosses time…

Time makes a poem even better!

The wounds may heal,

But a poem reminds you how!

Not of the feelings, but of a version of you that no longer exists…

May be it lingers in the poetry,

But it still is an art, that is now have many vows…

So, a poem never dies,

And so it makes you immortal.

With the hidden meanings, that only the creator can know,

With the metaphors used in the world of rhymes,

You make it come alive,

And so, you remain…

In every word you write, you remain

In every unintentional rhyme.

If poetry is the art of words,

Keep creating the art,

Art is what will remain,

When life will perish,

Poetry will still be your existence…

I used to think, poetry is an escape, once it used to be. I am grateful of the times it helped me escape reality. But now I think, Poetry is may be beyond our understanding as an art. No matter what we have known, every time you write another one, you create a palette of words that itself is like painting Life. To that, Happy World Poetry Day.

Thanks for reading. Namaste.
